Howard was found as a stray in Indianapolis, we took him from there to Humane Society of Johnson County. We found out a day or two after coming to us that he had cancer with less than a year to live. Since I work there I told my family I want to bring him home and give him a great end of life. Our staff came up with a bucket list, he did a lot of fun things. He enjoyed his 3 human siblings & 2 furry siblings, especially relaxing in the back yard or playing in the snow. We adopted our sweet Howard in October. Howard went back to the vet in October when we found out his cancer had spread all over, at this point he could go anytime. We were excited to see he made it to Christmas, New Years and even the puppy bowl. We are so thankful for everyday we had with our precious Howard. He taught us so much about loving a senior animal even though our time with him was short . We will love & miss our Howard forever!
