F.A.Q.

Cremation offers you the ability to give thought to your pet’s final resting place. Cremains may be buried, scattered in a favorite spot or kept at home in a decorative container. Your pet is never bagged or frozen and is always treated in a respectful and dignified manner. Pets in our care are placed in a pet bed or casket with soft blankets, and remain tin them until they are cremated.

  • How long does it take to get my pet back?

We will have your pet ready for you within 2 – 3 business days after your approval to move forward with the cremation.
  • What types of pets and sizes do you cremate?

Rose Pet Memorial Center offers cremation services for any type of family pet including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents.
  • Are all pet crematories alike?

No. Most states do not regulate pet crematories. Unlike human crematories where strict federal, state and local laws govern every aspect of the business itself, pet crematories are not subject to any rules regarding standards, practices and terminology. It is important to know the questions to ask and to fully investigate, visit and feel comfortable with the provider you use.
  • How do I know the pet returned to me is actually my pet?

We understand how important receiving your pet’s ashes is, and only your pet’s ashes to memorialize, and we feel the same way. That’s why we only offer private cremations, meaning no other pet or human is in the cremation unit during the process. We utilize a unique identifier and tracking system for each pet that follows them from the time they are in our care until they are returned to you.
  • What if my veterinarian does not mention using Rose Pet Memorial Center?

When a pet is euthanized or dies at a veterinarian clinic, the owner has the option to use the aftercare service of their choice. Even if your veterinarian does not suggest Rose Pet Memorial Center, you can make arrangements directly with us to have us take care of your pet. Notify your vet or their staff to contact us and we will be on our way to pick up your pet as soon as possible.
  • Can I Bring My Pet To Rose Pet Memorial Center Myself?

You certainly can, but since we may be off site attending to other pets. Make sure to call in advance to ensure we will be there to meet you. Our Memorialization Package is designed for pet parent’s bringing their pet to us.
